This programme equips students with appropriate knowledge and skills of an enterprise system throughout a business organisation, especially in a manufacturing environment.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of the programme, graduates will be able to:

  • Explain and evaluate central concepts of intra and inter organisational enterprise information systems, especially regarding their functionality, use, and consequences.
  • Analyse and design business and value models for individual organisation as well as networks of organisations with focus on production, transformation and exchange of resources.
  • Analyse and design process models including actors, information, control flow, and resource aspects.
  • Design and evaluate organisations and their business activities as well as information systems using enterprise modelling.
  • Demonstrate computer literacy and effective oral and written communication skills applicable in the business environment.
  • Practice interpersonal and team building skills and recognise a variety of leadership styles.
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial initiative and the ability to respond to change.
  • Demonstrate an appreciation for life-long learning.


Career Opportunities
Technical and supervisory position in various department in the manufacturing industry such as Line Leader of warehouse control, Supervisor for production planner, Junior Planner and Service/Sales or Junior Quality Executive 

Entry Requirements
Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ O-level with *three (3) credits in any subjects and pass in English; or
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by Malaysian Government.

The International College of Automotive (ICAM) is owned by HICOM University College Sdn. Bhd (HUCSB), a subsidiary wholly owned by DRB-HICOM Berhad. With the approval from The Ministry of Higher Education, ICAM was officially established on 2 April 2010.
As the largest fully integrated automotive corporation in the country, DRB-HICOM is involved in numerous automotive supply chain activities which include manufacturing of automotive components, vehicle assembly and distribution, after-sales support and services and vehicle inspection.
The companies within the Group have collaborated with international automotive players such as Audi, Honda, Isuzu, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen.
ICAM serves two major roles. As a private educational institution, ICAM is committed to produce a cadre of skilled professionals to join the workforce in the automotive sector. It also serves as an institution which enables the DRB Group of Companies workers to continuously upgrade their skills and knowledge. Complementing the automotive industry through sustainable development of human capital is the primary goal of ICAM establishment.
ICAM plays an active role in the Group vision in realising the national aspiration of creating a knowledgeable and skilful workforce as prescribed in the New Economic Model by providing a continuous flow of trained and skilled workers to the Malaysian automotive industry.
This vision includes the goal of making Pekan, the home of ICAM and the DRB-HICOM automotive complex, a vibrant and self-sustaining regional automotive centre, which will house state-of-the-art technology with highly skilled, knowledgeable and professional workforce.
